Dr. Akinola Aguda is one of Nigeria's most distinguished legal luminaries. Educated at London University, he severed as chief justice, Federal Republic of Botswana (1972-75) and Western State of Nigeria (1975-76). He also served a Director-General of the Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (1978-88). He is author of several books on various aspects of law. He was awarded the NNOM in 1985
