Rosemary
da Costa was a top Lagos model, actress and singer in the 1960s; she is
particularly noteworthy for serving as the first Miss Lux.
In the 70s, she worked increasingly in London, appearing in television programs such as "The Benny Hill Show" and "Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em."
In the 80s, she returned to Nigeria to star as Jagua Nana in the Nigerian Television Authority's "Jagua Nana's Daughter" with her husband Albert "Mr. B" Egbe.
