Iron Maiden, a torture device discovered in Uday Hussein's palace, outside the Iraqi Chief of Police's office in Baghdad, Iraq on Dec. 24, 2003. Policeman insist on displaying the device to serve as a reminder of the old regime's brutality.
When the device was still in use, Uday Hussein would lock his captives for days inside of it, where victims would encounter metal spikes that prevented them from moving, collapsing, or sleeping. The Iron Maiden was found in Uday Hussein's palace in Baghdad.
