His outfit starting with the the feather tipped boater and ending in a 20-foot train that winds up around the neck of a small boy is a mixture of Nigerian modern and traditional.

His flamboyant attires epitomized the corruption that was prevalent in the first republic which eventually led to the infamous 66 coup which in turn heralded events that led to the Nigerian civil war ...
