There was a post made 2 years ago on a site from a lady who said she was a friend of Goosen's. She'd be old now, but young back then. His girlfriend, perhaps?
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I knew Marc via a mate in mercs, I've found better photos, that is him alright. I recall a different bio to most of what is recounted elsewhere but people embellish, leave out bits, so, after 53 years I'll not be fussy. He was younger than he looked, by the way, probably barely 30 when killed.
Thing is, she reckons he wasn't killed in action but whilst being mugged for his pay.
Photos tend not to corroborate this.
He had a brother, who's son, Peter, contacted me, he works as a chef - I assume in the USA, but not sure.
