Umaru Dikko(1936- ) was a powerful Federal Minister in the Second
Republic under President Shehu Shagari(his brother-in-law). Dikko was at
the centre of the 1984 'Man in a Crate' bungled kidnap attempt in
London. The saga strained Anglo/Nigerian diplomatic affairs for two
years.
