Head of Mission and Nigeria’s Permanent Representative to the United
Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO), Ambassador Bianca Olivia
Odumegwu-Ojukwu presented her Letters of Commission to King Juan Carlos 1
on 9th October, 2012,
At a very impressive ceremony, with the trappings
of the ancient diplomatic tradition. While receiving the Nigerian
ambassador, His Majesty King Juan Carlos 1 expressed confidence in the
growing cordial relations subsisting between the two countries. In her
response, Ambassador Odumegwu-Ojukwu conveyed the goodwill and
felicitation of Mr. President, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan GCFR from the
Government and people of Nigeria to His Majesty the King of Spain. She
also assured the King of Nigeria’s cooperation in the fight against
international terrorism, improved trade relations and tourism. The event
was rounded up with a luncheon in honour of the accredited Ambassador
Bianca Olivia
Odumegwu-Ojukwu.
