Ada Priscilla Nzimiro (1923-1951) was a graduate of the University
who was the first woman doctor to work in the Igbo region of Nigeria.
Born in Nigeria, the daughter of a businesswoman, Nzimiro came to
Glasgow in 1945 to study Medicine. She graduated MB, ChB in 1950 and
returned to Nigeria, where she died the following year.
