There was a time when the Nigerian police was very friendly towards its
citizens, now from recent behaviour that ceases to exist. Here is a
picture showing Nigerian children peering through the legs of a
policeman to catch a glimpse of Queen Elizabeth II of England who was in
the Lagos Cathedral for a service in 1956.
